Bordeaux - Margaux - 1er Cru Classé - Red Wine -Château Margaux 2020 is a deep, very elegant wine, one of the greatest wines of the vintage, awarded 99-100/100 by the critics.
The Cabernet Sauvignons dominate with 90% in the blend, the wine is balanced with silky tannins, beautiful freshness and crisp fruit.
To the eye, the colour is an intense red with purple highlights
The nose is dominated by black fruits, blackcurrants and cherries, followed by woody and vanilla notes
On the palate, the attack is straightforward and fruity, combined with a lovely freshness and harmonious length.
The blend for the 2020 vintage is made up of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot
Maturing for the 2020 vintage was 18 months, 100% in new barrels.
