Château Montrose 2017
Bordeaux - Saint-Estèphe - 2e Cru ClasséCru Classé - Red Wine -
The 2017 vintage of Château Montrose is already a delicious vintage to drink.
We have just had a tasting and we were seduced by the freshness, the elegance and the sweetness of the wine. Robert Parker awarded him the excellent mark of 96-99/100
The color: an intense purple red with more evolved reflections
The nose: reveals delicate and complex aromas of red fruits and white flowers subtly accompanied by smoky notes
The mouth: we find an ample and silky attack. A beautiful length and finesse with rich aromas. A racy, elegant wine with great precision, proudly bearing the signature of the terroir.
Château Montrose is a great wine from , a blended cuvée composed of 76% , 20% , 3% and 1% Petit Verdot
Château Montrose also produces a second wine, one of the most famous in Bordeaux, the Dame de Montrose.
The suggestion for 12 bottles: Accompany it with red meat or duck foie gras to bring out the best flavours. Serve at 15°C
