Le Blanc d'Alain Brumont 2022
Sud-Ouest - Pacherenc du vic-bilh - White Wine -This cuvée, a Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh appellation wine, comes from new plots on the Bouscassé hill.
The young vines are planted on virgin clay-limestone terroir that has been unexploited for more than 50 years.
The grape varieties that make up the wine are composed of 80% Petit Courbu and 20% Petit Manseng, two grape varieties from the Piedmont Pyrenees.
They have made the reputation of the Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh appellation thanks to their aging potential.
Alain Brumont wishes to “shape these two indigenous grape varieties into a profile that is accessible in its youth, floral and elegant”
His tasting comment: The attack is fresh, supported by a nice tension while maintaining volume and roundness. Aromas of exotic fruits and white flowers. The finish is long and elegant.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Delicious to drink now, this 2022 vintage will perfectly accompany your white-fleshed fish. Serve the wine around 10°C, if possible decant the bottle one hour before serving and keep refrigerated.
