Chateau Nénin 2016
Bordeaux - Pomerol - Red Wine -Château Nénin is a typical Pomerol wine. Composed of 88% Merlot it is a very nice bottle, especially considering that it is only the second wine of the Château!
With this 2016 vintage, the team of Château Nénin have succeeded in producing a great wine.
The wine is dominated by red and black raspberries, currants and cherries. The tannins are still firm but the balance between the fruit and the wood can drink this vintage now. You can also keep a few years in the cellar.
Château Nénin in Pomerol belongs to Domaines Delon which also owns the Châteaux Léoville Las Cases, Clos du Marquis and Potensac all available on the 12bouteilles site.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Especially decant the at least 2 hours before tasting to release the aromas. Serve it chilled around 17 °, it will go perfectly with grilled royal meats and cheeses.
