This Chinese wine from Château Nine Peaks, is produced in Shandong Province just south of Beijing. A region with a climate comparable to that of the Bordeaux region, and favorable terroirs for European grape varieties. It is made from a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 11 months in French oak barrels.
Her dress : A red color quite intense.
Nose: Developed with notes of black fruit and cassis, flattering woody notes and scents of aromatic herbs.
In the mouth : A supple attack with a lightness sweetness. The tannins are present with a nice freshness. There is a little bitterness, which disappears on oxidation. The finish is flavored with black fruits, woody notes and nutmeg.
The 12-bottle recommendation : This wine will pair perfectly with red meats such as beef and lamb or poultry. Open 1 to 2 hours before tasting.
