Bordeaux - Pessac-Leognan - Cru Classé - Red Wine -Château Pape Clément 2020 vintage red is a balanced, powerful and rich wine with a lot of freshness.
The grapes produced were ripe, rich and very aromatic.
To the eye, the color is ruby red, almost black with purple reflections.
On the nose it is a mixture of black fruits and spices that emerge
On the palate, the attack is frank, all in roundness, fruity and harmonious ending with silky tannins.
the blend is made with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot, 2% de Petit Verdot et de 1% de Cabernet Franc.
Ageing : 90% in new French oak barrels, 10% in tuns during 18 months.
The advice of 12bouteilles : Forget this bottle for a few years in your cellar, it will improve with the years. If you decide to taste it, decant it at least 6 hours before tasting it, serve the wine chilled around 16-16°c. It will go perfectly with your red meats, game meat and cheese platters.
