Château Pavie 2019
Bordeaux - Saint-Émilion - 1er Cru Classé -Gérard Perse Owner of Château Pavie describes his 2019 vintage
as, I quote: This vintage of great quality will stand the test of time, will spend years polishing its contours, refining its roundness, in a style full of elegance and nobility.
To the eye, the color is purple with purple reflections
On the nose, black fruits emerge, blackcurrant, cherry, then woody and vanilla notes.
On the palate, the attack is frank, very fruity, associated with a good length and freshness. The wine is long, full with powerful tannins.
A magnificent Saint Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classé which impressed us with its power and balance.
Blend: 50% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Cabernet Franc.
The advice of 12bouteilles: You have understood it, this Pavie 2019 is not ready to drink at the moment. If you feel like tasting it, decant the bottle at least 6 hours before, serve the wine chilled around 18°C. It will go perfectly with your red meats, your cheeses.
