In this 2019 vintage, Pichon Comtesse Réserve was rated 91 to 93 by all the tasters.
Second wine of Château Pichon Comtesse de Lalande, it is a wine that will appreciate more quickly than the 1st wine.
The color is deep red.
The nose is expressive, a concentrate of very ripe red fruits and floral notes then a very elegant woodiness takes over.
Long in the mouth, generous, fleshy and greedy. A fresh attack, the texture of the mid-palate is enveloping and reveals a precise tannic structure, very typical of Pauillac.
We love it!
Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon (51%), Merlot (46%), Cabernet Franc (3%).
Ageing: Aged in barrels for 12 months, 40% new barrels.
2019 Vintage reviews:
Vinous - N. Martin : 92-94/100
Quarin : 90/100
Decanter 93/100
