hecolour is a deep red.
The nose is expressive, with concentrated, ripe red fruit and floral notes, followed by a very elegant woodiness.
Long on the palate, generous, fleshy and greedy. A fresh attack, the mid-palate texture is enveloping and reveals a precise tannic structure, very typical of Pauillac.
As the second wine of Château Pichon Comtesse de Lalande, this is a wine that can be enjoyed more quickly than the 1st wine.

The blend for the 2021 vintage is 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot.
The wine was aged in barrels for 12 months, 40% of which were new.
12bottles' advice: Decant this bottle 2 hours before tasting. It's a perfect wine to drink with jugged hare or rabbit in mustard sauce.
