Château Poujeaux 2016
Bordeaux - Moulis - Cru Bourgeois - Red Wine -Château Poujeaux 2016 is a great success, a nice bottle of Moulis perfect to accompany a family barbecue.
The Nose is delicate, expressive and complex, the aromas of black fruit, morello cherry and more floral notes mingle with perfection. On the palate the attack is supple, the wine is dense and the tannins silky. A great complexity, a nice delicacy and a very long persistence in the mouth will give this wine a great drinkability.
The 2016 vintage comes from a classic Médoc blend: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon - 42% Merlot - 6% Petit Verdot - 2% Cabernet Franc
Noted 90 by Wine Advocate Robert Parker during the early season, the critic greeted the final very sophisticated and elegant
Medium garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Poujeaux is scented of fried herbs, tar and earth with baked plums and a waft of rocks. The palate is medium-bodied, firm, chewy and herbal.
The advice of 12bouteilles: A great wine is not necessarily an expensive wine, this is the case of this Château Poujeaux 2016. Just open it 30 minutes before tasting on roast beef.
