The nose releases scents of blackberry, blueberry and violet, while the palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins and aromas of black fruit, graphite and smoke.
The quality of the Cabernet Sauvignon is particularly remarkable, with excellent concentration and an elegant, delicate finish, as you would expect from a Margaux wine.
Château Prieuré Lichine 2021 is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot.
The wine was aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which were new and 60% in one-wine barrels.
The vineyards of Château Prieuré-Lichine, Margaux's 4th Cru Classé, cover 77.5 hectares in the heart of the Margaux appellation.
