Château Saint Pierre 2019
Bordeaux - Saint-Julien - 4e Cru Classé - Red Wine -Château Saint Pierre in this 2019 vintage seduced us with its balance between crunchy fruits, well-melted tannins and a nice acidity guaranteeing longevity for this bottle.
To the eye, the dress is an intense red color with purple reflections.
On the nose, black fruits emerge, blackcurrant, cherry, then woody and vanilla notes.
On the palate, the attack is frank, very fruity, associated with a nice freshness then a nice harmonious length.
Blend : 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot.
Ageing : 50% in new barrels for 15 months
Chateau Saint Pierre is owned by the Triaud family, also owners of Chateau Gloria, its neighbor in Saint Julien.
The Advice of 12bouteilles : This bottle could wait for years in your cellar but you can appreciate it now as the finesse and the silky and ripe tannins are accessible. Decant it at least 6 hours before serving it. It will go wonderfully with your red meats and cheeses.
In Saint-Julien appellation, you could also like Château Léoville Las cases, Château Léoville Poyferré, Château Léoville Barton, Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, Chateau Beychevelle, Chateau Branaire Ducru, Chateau Lagrange, Chateau Talbot ...
