Château Smith Haut Lafitte 2013
Bordeaux - Pessac-Leognan - Cru Classé - Red Wine -Classified for its red wines and white wines, Château Smith Haut Lafitte is today one of the greatest classified growths of Pessac Léognan.
This 2013 vintage is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
Château Smith Haut Lafitte 2013 red presents a beautiful bright dark red dress with bluish tints.
On the nose we find very fresh notes of red fruits (strawberry, cherry then the complexity of the nose is revealed with delicate notes of spices (badiane, licorice)
On the palate, the attack is fresh, balanced, it is the fruits that dominate, then the elegant and racy tannins take over to give a bottle very harmonious, very pleasant to drink now.
The wines of the Château are 100% biodynamic and vinified in barrels "house made" which gives them a unique signature recognizable.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Open the bottle at least an hour before serving. It will obviously accompany your red meats and game.
