Château Sociando Mallet 2015

Bordeaux - Haut Médoc - Red Wine -

Château Sociando Mallet 2015 is a superb , Renowned for its constancy, the Cru Ni Classé or Bourgeois of the appellation proves once again that a great wine is not necessarily an expensive one.

After the extensive grubbing campaign started in 2013-2014, the 2015 vintage, whose blend has more Merlot than usual is a perfect wine, velvety, very accessible and perfectly balanced. In a very classic spirit, this Château Sociando Mallet 2015 gains in softness what it loses in tension and in race. So we will find an opulent, fat and tasty Sociando, with a more accessible side.

The nose is fruity with notes of black ripe, blackberry, blueberry. The palate is round, supple, Château Sociando Mallet 2015 is elegant, well fruity, tannin melted, round, tasty. A real vintage nugget!

Robert Parker says of Sociando Mallet - "This wine located in the middle of the best wines of Médoc has never been ranked, go understand".

The advice of 12bouteilles: excellent value for money, an excellent Haut Médoc, open the 1 hour before tasting, decant it if possible.
