Bordeaux - Haut Médoc - Red Wine -Château Sociando Mallet is no exception to the rule of vintage in Bordeaux, it is a very successful wine. Without doubt the best of the unclassified growths of the Haut Medoc appellation, although it is not a Cru Classé due to its late creation and is no longer an exceptional Cru Bourgeois by choice. It is a Haut Médoc apart, an unclassified wine, a pearl for connoisseurs. Today, the vineyard extends over 83 hectares around the château. This Château Sociando Mallet 2018 is no exception to the rule.
Tasting notes :
Colour: Dark and dense red
Nose: reveals notes of dark fruit and chocolate.
On the palate: we find a structured wine, with fine and well-integrated tannins. For a great wine with a long finish.
The 12bouteilles advice : open 1 hour before tasting, decant it if possible. Accompany it with a rack of lamb cooked in the oven, you will tell us about it.
