To the eye, the wine is purple in colour with violet highlights
On the nose, black fruits emerge, blackcurrants and cherries, followed by woody and vanilla notes
On the palate, the attack is straightforward and fruity, with good length and freshness and all the finesse of a Saint Julien wine.
Château Talbot's wines have made great strides in quality over the last few years, and the tasters' scores confirm this vintage after vintage. The second wine, made from the estate's young vines, benefits from the same care.
The blend for the 2021 vintage is 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.
