Château Troplong Mondot 2020
Bordeaux - Saint-Émilion - 1er Cru Classé - Red Wine -In this 2020 vintage, Château Troplong Mondot has been rated 98-99 /100 by James Suckling.
The colour is an intense red.
The nose is expressive, a concentrate of red fruits then a very elegant woody takes over.
The palate is generous, fleshy and greedy. A fresh attack, the mid-palate texture is enveloping and reveals a precise tannic structure.
the blend of the 2020 vintage is composed of 85% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% cabernet franc.
The vintage was aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
Château Troplong Mondot is a 1st Grand Cru Classé B de Saint Emilion of 33 hectares overlooking the village of Saint-Émilion.
