Corse - Red Wine -The Clos Colonna red 2022 comes from a wild property, bathed in sun, surrounded by maquis and olive trees, located between Sartène and the bay of Tizzano, near the Paddaghiu menhirs. The Leccia Family produces its wines there as works, dedicated to pleasure, to the expression of the terroirs and the magnificent Corsican grape varieties, Sciacarellu and Niellucciu.
Tasting note :
The color : magnificent deep and sustained red color.
The nose : its nose is intense, dominated by aromas of small red fruits
The Palate : On the palate, it offers a pleasant roundness with silky tannins. This wine from the Valinco region, combining freshness and character, leads us towards an elegant and suave finish.
The 12bouteilles advice : Serve between 16°C and 18°C, this red wine will perfectly accompany your grilled red and white meats, a piece of game, a lamb shank or a pasta dish with meatballs.
This sublime vintage is the result of a blend of Sciaccerellu and Niellucciu. This Clos Colonna cuvée comes from the most beautiful plots of the estate, where the emblematic grape varieties of the Isle of Beauty, Sciaccarellu and Niellucciu, are fully expressed.
