The palate: we find a suave mouth, balanced with woody notes.
This wine comes from a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc.
Aged in barrels for 16 months, 45% in new barrels, no fining.
Clos de L'Oratoire, Grand Cru Classé de Saint Emilion is the property of Count Von Neipperg, also owner of Châteaux Canon la Gafellière and la Mondotte, both Grand Cru Classé B de Saint Emilion. The Clos de l'Oratoire vineyard is located on the north-eastern slope of the appellation. This wine is a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc.
The advice from 12bottles: Open it at least 2 hours before tasting. Serve it chilled, around 17°C.
