The wine was matured in French oak barrels, 40% of which were new, for 18 months.
Clos Marsalette is a Pessac-Léognan, located in the commune of Martillac, which produces high-quality red and white wines.
The estate is family-owned by Stephan von Neipperg, who also owns several classified growths in Saint Emilion (Canon la Gaffelière, Clos l'Oratoire, La Mondotte) and Didier Miqueu.
