In this 2021 vintage, Château Cos d'Estournel is very harmonious, with a fine balance between fruit and very elegant tannins.
The wines are elegant with beautiful aromatic power and a perfect balance between richness, tannins and acidity.
The colour is an intense, dark red,
with a highly aromatic nose of black fruit.
The palate is full on the attack, with a rich, full mid-palate, followed by a long finish with aromas of silky tannins.
The blend for the 2021 vintage is 64% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.
12bouteilles' advice : Decant at least 6 hours before drinking. This wine deserves to age for many years in your cellar. While still young, it is the perfect accompaniment to red meats, of course, but also white meats, poultry and cheese platters.
In the Saint-Estèphe appellation, you can also discover Chateau Lafon Rochet, Château Montrose, Château Calon-Ségur, Château Phélan-Ségur ou encore Château Haut-Marbuzet.
