Les Pagodes de Cos is a second wine that is charming and crisp on the palate, more accessible than Château Cos d'Estournel. The wines will be ready to drink sooner.
Fresh on the palate, with supple tannins and good aromatic length, we were seduced by the wine's balance of red fruit, tannins and remarkable acidity.
The blend for the 2021 vintage is 60% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
12bottle suggestion: To be decanted at least 2 hours before drinking, this still young wine is the perfect accompaniment to red meats and game.
In the Saint-Estèphe appellation: you can also discover Chateau Lafon Rochet, Château Montrose, Château Calon-Ségur, Château Phélan-Ségur ou encore Château Haut-Marbuzet.
