Rhone Valley - Crozes-Hermitage - Red Wine -Domaine des Grands Chemins 2020 is a great Crozes-Hermitage appellation wine from Maison Delas. This cuvée is made from a blend of grapes sourced exclusively from the Domaine des Grands Chemins. The plots are all located on the "Chassis" terraces, at the confluence of the Rhône and Isère rivers. The wine is aged for fourteen months in 1-2-year-old barrels. This is a complex, rich wine, faithful to the original terroir of Domaine des Grands Chemins.
Tasting notes:
The robe: deep, garnet-red with violet highlights.
The nose: aromas of stewed black fruit (black cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant) combine with smoky, liquorice notes.
The palate: the attack reveals freshness and liveliness, the body is dense, fleshy, almost silky, and the balance is real.
