Domaine Alain Graillot Crozes-Hermitage 2022

Rhone Valley - Crozes-Hermitage - Red Wine -

This magnificent Crozes-Hermitage from Domaine Alain Graillot is made on a superb terroir, of sand and pebbles. The vines here are managed with low yields. The wine is aged in 225-liter barrels, the percentage of new wood is low (10%).

This 2022 vintage is a wine that combines freshness, power and sophistication, with magnificent Syrahs that shine with their firm style.
The Robe: very dense and deep,
The Nose: beautiful aromas of black fruits and spices, red berries.
On the Palate: notes of pepper, black fruit, the Syrah expresses itself fully with excellent freshness. With this 2021 vintage, the Domaine is a great success, the harvest was very healthy, very beautiful and the wines produced extremely balanced.

Alain's sons, Antoine and Maxime Graillot, are now in charge of the estate, which covers an area of over 20 hectares. Cultivation methods are carried out on the estate to favor low yields, which illustrates the ageing potential of this Crozes-.

12bottle tip: Wine at its peak around 2024-2029. Serve with red meat, perfect for a barbecue with friends or your Autumn dishes.

In the appellation Crozes-Hermitage, you can also enjoy wines from Laurent CombierChapoutier, E.Guigal, Delas ...
