Burgundy - Auxey-Duresses - White Wine -This Auxey-Duresses 2021 from Boisson Frère et Soeur is a 100% Chardonnay cuvée signed by the children of Bernard Boisson who now manages the family estate wines. Selected and matured by Pierre and Anne Boisson, this wine comes from a sublime terroir where the vines are worked without chemical fertilizers and with ploughing of the soil. The wine is aged for a long time and with few new barrels in order not to mark the wine.
Tasting Notes:
The robe: pale yellow
The nose: notes of roasted hazelnut, lemon and floral touch
The palate: fresh, rich, ample and keeps a good balance
The advice of 12bouteilles: To be served at a temperature of 10°C-12°C, it can be drunk now or after a few years in the cellar. It will perfectly accompany seafood and fish.
Located in Meursault, Domaine Boisson-Vadot is a hidden gem that every wine lover loves to explore. Following the retirement of Bernard Boisson in 2016, the estate is now shared between his two children: Anne and Pierre. Both produce exceptional wines under their own names, bringing a touch of novelty while respecting the values established by their father.
Pierre Boisson owns 3.5 hectares of vines, including the famous "Les Charrons" and "Monthélie" plots. He chooses to age his vintages for a long time in old barrels in order not to mark the wine.
As for Anne Boisson, she owns 1.5 ha of vines spread over the villages of Meursault and Auxey-Duresses. Her heritage allows her to become a true ambassador of the new generation of Meursault winegrowers. She produces mainly white wines in the Bourgogne Aligoté appellation as well as Meursault Premier Cru.
