Burgundy - Beaune - 1er Cru - Red Wine -The Beaune 1er Cru "Clos des Fèves" 2017 is a monopoly cuvée of Domaine Chanson Père et Fils. The 2017 vintage remains an excellent vintage for the Bourguignon vineyard.
The vineyard is located mid-slope and covers 3.80 hectares. Le Clos des Fèves was listed in 1307 under the Latin name of "Fae" which means "beech" in Latin.
Tasting note:
The dress: Black with ruby reflections
The nose: fresh and ripe cherry notes
The palate: both complex and deep, with all the elegance and finesse characteristic of the estate
The advice of 12bouteilles: A sublime wine served with poultry (capon type), game or even mature cheese. He must be forgotten in the cellar for a few years.
