Domaine Comte Peraldi 2020 red
Corse - Red Wine -Domaine Comte Peraldi 2020 is one of the greatest red wines in the Ajaccio region. It is one of the most famous vintages in Corsica, one of the best possible quality ratios. The plots are located on granite arenaceous hillsides, acidic and poor soils.
Tasting note:
The color: Beautiful, bright intense ruby color, with glowing reflections, with which some brown tints are beginning to mix.
The nose: evokes ripe red fruits, and is enhanced with spicy notes (myrtle).
The palate: It is a joyful wine, with a delicious mouthfeel, with a lovely body coating the palate, present but already round tannins, and a generous and fruity finish. A juicy and easy-drinking wine.
The 12bouteilles advice : Serve slightly chilled around 17°C. Decanter. Drink within 5 years to enjoy its fruitiness. ideal as an accompaniment to lamb meat.
The vintage comes from a blend of Sciaccarello (60%) - Nielluccio (30%) - Carignan and Cinsault (10%) on granite arena slopes.
Reception of the grapes by belt conquest, then sorting on the table. Fermentation in concrete vats. Maceration for 10 days. Classic vinification with daily pumping over. Vinification is carried out in vats for 16 months.
A vineyard of around fifty hectares, Domaine Comte Peraldi is located on the heights of Ajaccio, on the slopes of Mezzavia. Family property, the estate produces sublime red, white and rosé wines from typically Corsican grape varieties, in the Ajaccio and Corsica Wine Appellation.
