Unlike 2019, the wines are not focused on power and concentration, but rather on freshness and balance. A vintage that feels good, with wines that are easier to grasp and ready to drink more quickly.
The Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2020 from Domaine de Beaurenard, is the result of a blend of 6 white grape varieties of the appellation namely Clairette blanche & Rose, Grenache Blanc & Gris, Bourboulenc, Roussanne, Picpoul, Picarda certified organic and biodynamic. A superb rare white wine, since the production of white in Châteauneuf-du-Pape is less than 10% of the total production... a nice discovery.
Tasting comments:
The robe: gold with green reflections, nice bright disk
The nose: sweet notes of white flowers and dry fruit
The mouth: a fresh and dynamic texture and a saline finish
The advice of 12 bottles : Don't hesitate to let it age a little more, this will allow it to express all its aromatic potential. This wine will be the perfect accompaniment to fatty fish, white meat in sauce or a nice matured cheese.
