Domaine de Beaurenard: Boisrenard Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2019
Rhone Valley - Châteauneuf-du-Pape - Red Wine -2019 is one of the exceptional vintages for the Rhone Valley and particularly for the Southern Rhone, in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Marked by very high heat and a great drought, the harvest produced wines that were both unctuous and generous but also powerful and concentrated, a classic year for great Châteauneuf-du-Pape, cut for long cellaring.
The Boisrenard Châteauneuf-du-Pape red 2019 is one of the finest vintages of Domaine de Beaurenard. It is the fruit of the oldest parcels of the estate whose vines are 70 to 100 years old. Boisrenard 2019 brings together the 13 grape varieties allowed in the appellation.
Tasting notes:
The robe: deep black with ruby reflections
The nose: delicate and complex aromas of jammy black and red fruits, with subtle notes of empire and undergrowth
The palate: wine of impressive finesse, harmonious, a superb silky tannic structure, generous
