The colour is a beautiful pale yellow with green highlights.
The nose is beautifully complex, opening with hints of summer fruits (peach, apricot) and exotic fruits, with floral and woody notes
The palate is beautifully smooth, with plenty of richness and fruity notes that retain great freshness and tension. A powerful wine with persistent length and a fine mineral character.
The 2021 vintage is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (75%) and Sémillon (25%).
Aged for 18 months in oak barrels, 1/3 of which were new, with stirring on the lees.
Located in Léognan, the capital of the Graves region, Domaine de Chevalier is the flagship wine of the Pessac Léognan appellation. The estate is one of Bordeaux's elite Grands Crus Classés.
