Burgundy - Volnay - 1er Cru - Red Wine -Exclusively owned by the Domaine de la Pousse d'Or, the "Clos des 60 Ouvrées" is a monopoly Premier Cru. Its terroir is composed of clay-limestone soil typical of the appellation and one parcel is surrounded by a stone wall and planted just on the edge of Meursault. This Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des 60 Ouvrées" 2018 comes from a special place in the Volnaysian climate of Caillerets, considered one of the most qualitative towns in the region.
Tasting notes :
The dress : Intense garnet red color.
The nose: reveals aromas of red fruits, violet and sweet spices and fine woody notes.
The palate : An ample and velvety texture with silky tannins. In the mouth, it reveals a very nice balance and power.
The suggestion for 12 bottles : Serve with roast poultry - Do not forget to open 1 hour before and serve between 16°C and 18°C.
