Provence - IGP Méditerranée - White Wine -Léos Cuvée Augusta Blanc 2023 is an organic white wine from IGP Méditerranée, produced by the Domaine de Léos in Isle sur la Sorgue.
The wine has a superb golden colour with gold highlights, brilliant and limpid.
Fresh and delicate, the nose offers a magnificent, very floral aromatic bouquet, with notes of white flowers subtly mixed with aromas of ripe citrus fruits such as yuzu and blood orange. Opulent, rich and powerful.
On the palate, it has a lovely, fleshy texture and reveals delicious citrus notes, with a subtle hint of brioche, a sign of barrel ageing. The finish is extremely long and elegant, with aromas of white flowers such as lilies and orange blossom.
Issu de Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette and Colombard, this white wine comes from a subtle blend of selected native grape varieties, each bringing its own authenticity and uniqueness, giving LEOS white that perfect balance between floral and citrus aromas, between opulence and delicacy, the signature of a great white wine from the south of France.
The advice of 12Bouteilles: To be served chilled between 8°C and 10°C, it is perfect as an aperitif with shellfish.
This exceptional rosé wine is the result of a meeting between Patrick Bruel (owner of Domaine de Leos) and Nicolas Jaboulet (Maison & Domaines les Alexandrins). The authentic taste and passion for the terroirs that brought them together allowed them to go further in the search for a wine of excellence with the ambition of making a rosé wine like Nicolas Jaboulet makes his great white wines from Hermitage.
