Domaine de Rimauresq - Cuvée R - white 2023 - Bio - Cru Classé
Provence - Côtes de Provence - Cru Classé - White Wine -The cuvée "R" from Domaine de Rimauresq Blanc is a gourmet wine from organic farming.
This 2023 vintage is beautifully powerful, with a mineral and floral character, which can be enjoyed now as well as in a few years' time.
The nose is mineral and floral, followed by notes of citrus fruit and white flowers, and finally light toasty notes.
On the palate, citrus fruit and white flowers dominate, then mingle with the slightly woody notes that the barrel brings.
Produced from 100% Rolle, the appellation's flagship grape variety, it is a white wine of great aromatic complexity, full-bodied and very long on the palate.
The advice of 12Bouteilles: Open the bottle at least 30 minutes before serving to let it air out. Cuvée R is a gourmet white that goes wonderfully well with fish à la plancha, scallops or langoustines.
Domaine de Rimauresq, a classic Cotes de Provence Cru Classé, is located in Pignans (Var), at the foot of Notre-Dame des Anges, in the heart of wine-growing Provence, 35km from the sea. Named after the Real Mauresque, the Maures' river that runs through the estate, the 60-hectare vineyard produces fine, elegant, mineral wines.
