Burgundy - Rully - White Wine -The place known as "Saint-Jacques" is located at the foot of the hillside, exposed to the east just below the Clos Saint-Jacques, one of the most renowned first growths of Rully produced by the Domaine de Villaine. We were seduced for this Rully Les Saint Jacques 2019 for its finesse and the subtlety of its aromas rather than its power.
Tasting notes :
Dress: a beautiful crystalline golden yellow color.
Nose: reveals a seductive, precise and finely woody nose.
Palate: rich and greedy, energetic and powerful, almost tannic and salivating. Of great aromatic purity, it expresses itself through its fruity, salivating and digestible energy. Perfectly representing its terroir.
The advice of 12bouteilles : Serve at around 12°C, with fish (avoiding overly spicy sauces) and certain cheeses.
