The Pigeoulet is a wine of IGP Vaucluse vinified by the Bruiner family known for their domain of Vieux Télégraphe, superstar of the appellation Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
This 2019 vintage is a pure marvel from a combination of Grenache Noir 80%, Syrah 10%, Carignan 5%, Cinsault 5%.
Tasting note: a daily wine with a soft, fresh and fruity character, capable of giving immediate pleasure. Raised 12 months of 60 hectoliters. Bottling at 1 year with light filtration.
The Vintage 2019 has been rated 90/100 by Jeb Dunnuck:
Moving to the reds and starting with the 2019 Vaucluse Le Pigeoulet, this perennial winner offers a deeper ruby/plum color as well as a great nose of jammy black and red berry fruits intermixed with lots of peppery herbs and earth. Fleshy, medium-bodied, and already delicious, enjoy this on release and over the following 3-5 years. It competes with any number of top Cotes du Rhône out there.
The 12bouteilles Tips : a true Buddy' wine, a vintage pleasure at very light price, the perfect summer wine.
