Les Pallières 2015, Racines
Rhone Valley - Gigondas - Red Wine -Les Pallières 2016, Racines is a great wine from Gidondas vinified on the Pallières estate of the Brunier family, owner of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape superstar, the Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe.
2016 is an absolutely magnificent vintage for this vintage resulting from a blend of Grenache Noir 80%, Syrah - Cinsault 15% (complantés), Clairette 5%.
Tasting note:
The “Racines” cuvée, from the oldest vines on the estate, has the velvet, depth and harmony of old Grenache when grown on refined terroirs. Its aging potential is very important, the main factor being balance.
The dress: deep ruby red
The Nose: Complex fruits, blueberry, cherry, peppery notes
The Mouth: Perfect in balance, freshness and finesse, a harmonious cuvée under the sign of Grenache noir
The advice of 12bouteilles: A huge Gigondas. A magical cuvée with an impressive value for money. Remember to open between 1 hour and 2 hours before tasting, serving temperature 17 ° C.
