Burgundy - Meursault - 1er Cru - White Wine -Fabien Coche Meursault Goute d'Or 1er Cru 2018 is a great white wine of Burgundy and probably one of the best lieu-dit of Domaine Fabien Coche.
It is a Meursault all in finesse and elegance, on the aromas of Chardonnay with a light passage in barrel for 12 months (30% of new barrel) then blended for 6 months for additional aging.
Fabien Coche Meursault Goute d'Or 1er Cru 2018 - Tasting note:
Color: pale gold with yellow-green highlights.
The nose: notes of lemon oil, white flowers and exotic fruits.
The palate: rich, fat, perfectly balanced with a long and deep finish. After a few years in the bottle, the notes of brioche develop.
The 12bouteilles advice: To be enjoyed with fatty fish (salmon), shellfish or soft cheeses or even on fatty times. Can be drunk in its young years, as well as in 8 to 10 years.
