Burgundy - Meursault - White Wine -In this 2020 vintage, the Meursault "Les Chevalières" 2020 is among the best of the Coche lieux-dits where they hold the last parcel of Chevalières, which touches Meix Chavaux. This vintage has given birth to a silky and caressing cuvée offering an endless smoothness!
The robe reveals a beautiful golden color, intense and brilliant.
The nose highlights notes of dried fruits such as almond and roasted hazelnut but also white flowers and subtle notes of lemon oil.
The palate reveals a wine of great richness, fatty which develops on aromas of hazelnut. We observe a beautiful structure in the middle of the mouth with roundness and freshness. Aromas of ripe white fruit mingle with a floral bitterness which then brings complexity and a mineral tension that makes the finish salivate.
This cuvée is produced by the Domaine Fabien Coche located in the Burgundy wine region in Meursault. The 12-hectare family estate is spread over appellations such as Meursault, Pommard, Auxey-Duresses, Mothélie, Saint-Romain, Saint-Aubin and Puligny-Montrachet. The production of its wines is done in a traditional way, whether it is for the work of the vineyard, the breeding or the bottling in order to guarantee an exceptional wine.
Concerned about preserving the nature of the soil, Fabien Coche has been working in organic agriculture for several years. It is thus quite naturally that the request for organic certification was made in 2020.
The advice 12bouteilles: This sublime wine will go perfectly with noble poultry in white sauce, grilled shellfish such as prawns or lobster as well as blue cheese such as Roquefort or Gorgonzola. We advise you to serve it at a temperature of 12°C, preferably after aeration in a carafe
