This Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Chenevottes" 2020 is a great 100% Chardonnay organic white wine produced by Domaine Génot-Boulanger in Burgundy. From a parcel near the famous Montrachet, it takes its name "Les Chenevottes", which means "Hemp" in old French, from an ancient hemp field. 

Tasting notes :

The robe: pale gold with green highlights

The nose: aromas of fresh bread, toast and almond

The palate: delicate and clean 

12bouteilles' suggestion: To be served between 10 and 12°C, it is the perfect accompaniment to chicken in cream sauce or a fricassee of chanterelles.

Domaine Génot-Boulanger is a sublime vineyard planted in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, in Meursault. Initiated by a family of Parisian pharmacists, whose ambition was to create an estate in one of Burgundy's winegrowing hotspots, Domaine Génot Boulanger was born in 1974. Charles-Henri Génot and his wife Marie (née) Boulanger acquired their first parcel of vines in Mercurey. Over the years, the vineyard grew steadily, acquiring new plots in Meursault "Clos du Cromin", Chassagne-Montrachet, Volnay, Pommard and Beaune.
