Burgundy - Chassagne Montrachet - Red Wine -This Chassagne-Montrachet red 2021 is a red wine produced by Domaine Justin Girardin. Made from vines about 30 years old, this 100% Pinot Noir comes from parcels located in the vineyards of Chassagne-Montrachet. Terroir clay-limestone, the wines are aged in oak barrels from the Allier and Vosges, 25% of which are new barrels for 15 months.

Present in Burgundy since 1570, Justin Girardin represents today the 13th generation at the head of the family estate of 17 hectares, from Santenay to Savigny-Les-Beaune. Each parcel produces a different wine with its own identity. Vigilant to the well-being of his vines, Justin and his teams work in Biodynamics, and intervene only in good time for the maintenance of the vineyard in the logic of healthy agriculture and always more respectful of its environment.
The advice of 12bouteilles: To be served between 16°C and 18°C, it will perfectly accompany red meats and cheese. It can be enjoyed now and has a potential of 7 to 9 years of keeping.
