Jura - Vins d'Arbois - White Wine -La Régaule 2020, is a white wine in AOC Arbois produced by the Domaine de Ratte. It is a plot-based wine planted on fossil-rich soil, vinified naturally and bottled without filtration, offering a mineral side to the wine while being round and elegant.
Tasting notes
The robe: clear, pale yellow
Nose: full of freshness, fruity, floral
The mouth: beautiful minerality
This cuvée is a blend composed of 100% Chardonnay on chalk and grey marl soils. The grapes are harvested by hand, the vinification is without inputs, the fermentation is natural (indigenous yeasts) and without any filtration or fining.
Located in the commune of Arbois in the Jura, Domaine Ratte is spread out over different sites in the area: Les Corvées, Grand Curoulet, Bésivette, Prélevront, la Régole, Clos Maire and la Bergère. Certified Demeter, Michel-Henri and Françoise Ratte work with their son Quentin. The wines they produce are made entirely from their own vines and they practice biodynamic viticulture.
12bouteilles advice: We advise you to taste this 2020 vintage with fish, oysters or poultry. For a better tasting it will be ideal to serve it at a temperature between 12-14°C, to drink within 5 years.
