Domaine Rémi Jobard : Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes 2019
Burgundy - Meursault - 1er Cru - White Wine -The Meursault 1er Cru "Les Charmes" is located next to the 1er Cru "Perrières" and the 1er Cru "Genevrières". When talking about this terroir, one evokes the elegance, charm, finesse and approachability of Meursault wines. Fermentation and aging take place in Austrian barrels, 25% new for 12 months.
The Domaine Rémi Jobard, wishing to produce precise and exquisite wines, has made some changes since 1991 when he took over the domain: the work of the vineyard was done entirely by hand, and the yield was greatly reduced. He opened the vineyard to the path of organic farming. This series of changes brought the necessary fresh air to the Domaine and its wines. In a few years, Rémi Jobard has changed his Meursault vineyard and provided fine wines.
Tasting note:
The robe: is adorned with a clear lemon yellow color with silver reflections.
Nose: reveals a mixture of lime blossom, orange peel and fresh butter aromas coated with citrus and orchard fruits in a smoky minerality
The palate: elegant with acidulous notes balanced by a round fruit and a velvety fatness. A long finish with a fine bitterness
The advice of 12bouteilles: It will go perfectly as an aperitif, with fish or seafood.
