Domaine Rémi Jobard : Monthélie 1er Cru "Les Vignes Rondes" 2022
Burgundy - Monthélie - 1er Cru - Red Wine -This Monthélie 1er Cru "Les Vignes Rondes" 2022 is a 100% organic Pinot Noir produced by Domaine Rémi Jobard. Located in the Monthélie appellation, in the middle of an east-facing hillside, the Pinot Noir takes root in clay-limestone soil.
Tasting notes:
The robe: intense cherry-red with garnet highlights
The nose: powerful, voluptuous, with floral notes (violet, rose) and black fruit aromas (cherry)
The palate: juicy, and crisp, with elegant, silky tannins on the finish
The 12Bouteilles advice : Serve around 15-16°C, it can be drunk now if you like Pinot Noir in its freshness and its crispness, however, it is certainly a wine that deserves to wait. To keep for 5 to 10 years.
Domaine Rémi Jobard produces precise and exquisite wines. The work of the vineyard was done entirely by hand, and the yield was greatly reduced. He opened the vineyard to the path of organic farming. This series of changes brought the necessary fresh air to the Domaine and its wines. In a few years, Rémi Jobard has changed his Meursault vineyard and provided fine wines.
