Burgundy - Nuits Saint George - 1er Cru - Red Wine -Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru les Damodes 2018 from Domaine Remoriquet is a single-varietal Pinot Noir cuvée and made from 50-year-old vines.
Les Damodes is one of the most beautiful parcels of the appellation, adjoining the eponymous plot on Vosnes-Romanée, it produces structured and elegant wines.
Vinification : Hand picked, sorted and destemmed from 80 to 100%. Cold pre-fermentation maceration for 4 to 5 days. Fermentation and maceration for 15 to 20 days. Daily punching down and pumping over.
Ageing : In barrels, 28% of which are new, for 15 to 20 months. Bottling without filtration.

Robe: deep purplish red
The nose: fresh and pleasant, aromas of red fruits such as blackcurrant, cherry.
The mouth: round, harmonious and powerful, we notice beautiful spicy notes which remind the greatest vintages of the Côte de Nuits.

About Domaine Remoriquet: Henri and Gilles are at the head of a family estate that has been passed on for several generations. The values that drive the estate are nature and terroir at the heart of the wines. Low yields are controlled to extract the best and produce some of the most delicate wines of Burgundy. Each terroir is found in the bottle, the ageing is impressive, among the stars of Burgundy, their wines do not blush in front of the Grands Crus and the greatest bottles of the Cotes de Nuits.
