Corse - Red Wine -Domaine Saparale Red 2020 is part of the signature vintages of the region of Sartene. The vintage is a blend of Sciacarello, Nielluccio
A short pruning and a manual disbudding are practiced to obtain a good sunshine of the bunches, guarantee of a healthy and ripe grape. As the harvest approaches, the berries are analyzed and tasted daily. The harvest is started as soon as the sciacarello grapes start to wilt.
The traditional vinification, the grapes are cooled and fermented 15 to 20 days in truncated wooden vats with daily pumping over. The wine is aged in tuns in order to bring to the aromatic complexity a unique velvety structure.
Domaine Saparale Red 2020 - Tasting note:
A typical Sartenais blend. It has a beautiful ruby color.
Its nose exhales aromas of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry) with a hint of spices brought by the sciacarello.
The attack is supple, the mouth made of notes of candied fruits, is light and silky allowing to consume it from its year of elaboration.
The 12 bouteilles advice: Serve it a little bit chilled, a real buddy wine, perfect with grilled meat. To drink from 2 to 5 years after the harvest
