Corse - Red Wine -During this 2021 vintage, the Casteddu vintage from Domaine Saparale reveals a sunny, intense, complex and deep wine that evokes the South. To appreciate its full value, it is recommended to let it air before tasting it, ideally in a rich and textured gastronomic context.
Tasting notes :
Color : With time, the beautiful garnet red color of this wine takes on brown reflections, a sign of its maturity and evolution.
The Nose : The nose of this wine is both intense and complex. It reveals aromas of spices, cooked fruit, roasting and chocolate.
Mouth : This wine reveals a delicious, powerful and full-bodied palate, with exceptional length. It is an excellent wine for aging.
The 12bouteilles advice : To fully appreciate this wine, I recommend that you open it 3 to 4 hours before serving it or decant it for an hour. Serve it at a temperature of 17°C and accompany it with meat dishes in sauce, spicy dishes or cheese.
This sublime cuvée is made from Sciaccarello, Nielluccio, Carcaghjolu, Minustellu and Aleatico grape varieties.
The hillside vines are cultivated without the use of chemical fertilizers and are plowed several times a year. Practices such as pruning
