Montlis 2019 - Note : 92/100 Jeb Dunnuck
From schist soils in the north of the appellation, the 2019 Côte-Rôtie Montlis has a rich, broad, full-bodied style on the palate, as well as plenty of ripe, chocolatey fruit and fleshy, truffled, mineral aromas. It has plenty of richness and depth.

Fongeant 2019 - Note : 94/100 Jeb Dunnuck
Always elegant, fragrant and complex, the 2019 Côte-Rôtie Fongeant was vinified using part of the whole bunch and then matured in used barrels. It is medium-bodied on the palate, with fine tannins. One of the most concentrated and tightly-knit wines, it should be forgotten for 4-5 years, then should evolve for 15-20 years.

Côte-Bodin 2019 - Note 93/100 Jeb Dunnuck
The 2019 Côte-Rôtie Côte-Bodin is fragrant, spicy and complex. It is medium-bodied, with an elegant, silky palate and exceptional length. As with all these new 2019s, it is already approachable on the fruit of its youth. However, it will benefit from at least 2 to 4 years' bottle ageing.

Cognet 2019 - Note : 94/100 Jeb Dunnuck
The 2019 Côte-Rôtie Cognet is fragrant and lifted, with notes of mentholated herbs, flowers, leather and plenty of red and blue fruits. It all adds up to a medium to full-bodied, balanced, exotic and floral Côte-Rôtie that will need 3-5 years of bottle age.

Montmains 2019 - Note : 94+/100 Jeb Dunnuck
The 2019 Côte-Rôtie Montmain will be a great wine for laying down. With firm tannins, medium to full body and tremendous concentration, it will need at least 4-6 years of bottle age. It will keep for more than two decades.

La Viallière 2019 - Note : 97/100 Jeb Dunnuck
The 2019 Côte-Rôtie La Viallière is always one of the best in the Lieux-Dits selection. Beautiful dark blackcurrant and raspberry fruit, hints of violets, floral incense and crushed stone, medium to full body, plenty of tannin and a lovely finish make this a quintessential Côte-Rôtie that deserves 4-5 years of bottle age. This wine is a perfect reflection of the 2019 vintage, which is more structured and tannic, and will have 25 to 30 years of ageing potential.

Leyat 2019 - Note 94/100 Jeb Dunnuck
Vinified for the first time in 2018, the 2019 Côte-Rôtie Leyat is a killer and one of the stars of the Lieux-Dits selection. Incredible blackcurrant, graphite, violets, iron and some bloody nuances define the bouquet. It hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a concentrated and powerful mouthfeel, building tannins and a fine finish. Coming from a small locality between Côte Brune and La Landonne, just above Côte Bodin, this brilliant Côte-Rôtie will be forgotten for 4-5 years and will have 25-30 years of ageing potential.

Bertholon 2019 - Note  93/100 Jeb Dunnuck
The 2019 Côte-Rôtie Bertholon shows beautifully, with medium to full body, a silky, elegant mouthfeel and a lovely finish, it is surprisingly approachable and already complex, and should evolve for another two decades with ease.
