Burgundy - Chambolle-Musigny - Red Wine -This Chambolle-Musigny 2020 is a very great organic red wine from Burgundy, 100% Pinot Noir in the Chambolle-Musigny appellation. Made from a single parcel of 50-year-old vines, planted on clay-limestone soils with a very fine clay texture, it is aged in new barrels, 30% of which are new, before being bottled. It is a sublime red wine, among the finest terroirs of the region and according to the principles of organic farming

The Nose: aromas of blackberries and violets
The Palate: Deep with superb balance, associated with aromas of blackberries and violets as well as black cherries. The finish is very pleasant, marked by a persistent aromatic complexity filled with energy.
Domaine Thierry Mortet was founded in 1992 following the dissolution of Domaine Mortet Charles & Fils, which was owned by Thierry's father and shared between him and his brother Denis. Today they exploit an area of 8.5 hectares located in the centre of the village of Gevrey Chambertin between Dijon and Nuits-Saint-Georges where the work of the vine is carried out through reasoned agriculture. The domain aims to offer elegant wines of limited production, which express with sincerity the characteristics of the variety of the greatest terroirs of Burgundy.
The advice 12bouteilles: This sublime cuvée from Domaine Thierry Mortet reaches its peak after 6-7 years of ageing and will be perfectly appreciated with a rack of veal with morels or a guinea fowl stuffed with ceps. For an ideal tasting, we advise you to serve this wine at a temperature of 15°C.
