Famille Perrin: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, "Les Sinards" blanc 2019
Rhone Valley - Châteauneuf-du-Pape - White Wine -The Châteauneuf-du-Pape "Les Sinards" white 2019 is a superb white wine from the Rhône Valley produced by the famous house Famille Perrin, notably owner of the sublime Château de Beaucastel. The production of white wine in Châteauneuf-du-Pape is extremely limited, in that sense, this cuvée is very rare. This blend of Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Roussane is the result of a parcel of only 2.5 hectares, called Clos du Château (near Châteauneuf), which is entirely managed by the teams of Château de Beaucastel.
The robe: Pale gold with silver highlights
The nose: a very fine and supple nose, aromatic bouquet with notes of white flowers and acacia, mixed with subtle notes of yuzu and fennel
The palate: floral attack, superb balance between fat and acidity, roundness, a lot of freshness and aromatic persistence
The years in 9 regularly mark the memory of the winemakers and this one seems to be no exception to the rule. After an early budburst at the beginning of April, the flowering was progressive and took place in good conditions in all the vineyards. Then a hot summer began at the end of June, which the vines resisted valiantly. Finally, the harvest took place as usual, without any particular precocity. The wines are full of promise for a vintage in 9 born, once again, under a lucky star.
The advice of 12Bouteilles: To be served very cool, around 10°C with white meat or a dish in sauce.
Among the wines of the Perrin family you can also like the famous Château de Beaucastel and in Provence in association with Brad Pitt the wines of Miraval and Studio.
