Champagne Louis Roederer Collection 245 with gift Box
Champagne - Champagne - Brut -Le Champagne Louis Roederer Collection 245 is a cuvée made from 55% of the 2020 vintage, to which 35% of perpetual reserve wines (2112/2013/2014/2015/2016/2017/2018/2019) and 10% of wood-aged perpetual reserve wines (2010/2013/2015/2017/2018/2019) have been added.
The year 2020 was similar to 2019, with a mild winter followed by a dry summer with several heatwaves.
The wine is a brilliant gold colour with shimmering reflections, the bubbles are fine and dynamic, prolonged by a very persistent cordon.
The bouquet is beautifully fresh, with delicate ripe fruit aromas, followed by autolysis notes in the form of smoke and lightly toasted Viennese pastry. Then notes of autolysis appear in the form of smoke and lightly toasted Viennese pastries.
The palate is dense and deep, with a rich, structured structure. The texture is captivating, with the fleshy Pinot Noir grapes giving way to an immense saline freshness and a hint of bitterness.
A balance between youth and maturity, seduction and character, freshness and vinosity, Collection 245 is a blend of 41% Chardonnay , 35% Pinot Noir and 24% Pinot Meunier.
The dosage for Cuvée 245 is 7g/l.
